The morning cup of tea, and then quite an elaborate breakfast, which soon led to a royal lunch, followed by more tea and snacks and then a lavish dinner either at a restaurant or relation or farm. This defines the indulgence we had in India during our recent visit.
There is nothing more delightful than scooping out spiced flavored curries with some fresh, hot, flaky flatbread. These lovely multi layered, rustic, crisp on the outside, pastry like breads are called the Parathas.
This particular kind of muffin was “ordered” by my 5 year old. She started school and the kind of eater she is, we are already having immense trouble just getting her to eat during her time in school.
Can you tell I am making the best use of this unusual and unbearable summer? I am keeping myself busy.. not making gum drops, cough drops, licorice drops, but lentils drops; hard, tough, sun-dried ones.
