Witches Brew

A very potent brew presented to you all by the Man or should I say Monster of the House
. Drink it if you dare!
Halloween is almost here; we have done the annual routines of visiting the pumpkin patch. The kids have painted their pumpkins. We are yet to do the carving & the Jack – O – Lantern. While the little ones are planning out their costumes & the candies, the adults are more concerned with the plans of some knock out potent potions for the spooky night. The credit of the photos goes to the Man himself.
Witches Brew
Ingredients: (Serves 1)
- 4 oz Beer
- 3 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 Teaspoon Orange Tang (a little more or less as per your taste – however tangy you want it to be)
- 1.5 oz Vodka
- Crushed Ice
Preparation:Combine all the above ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Give it a good shake and serve.

Hope you have a very Spooky Halloween & the Beautiful Season of Fall!

Dear Soma .. This looks great , maybe the monster of my house will dare to drink it !!! I was looking out for some interesting drinks with vodka .. I have a bottle of it lying.. apart from making vodka sauce for the pasta … I am not using it for anything else. what abt the wizard’s brew then ??

You know why I cant have this drink this Halloween….and it looks so tempting that my man in the house is sure to go for it !!

Gotta hand it to your man for making beer drinkable– it is the one brew I usually cannot stomach because I can’t stand the bitterness. But with tang, vodka and pineapple juice…now that’s beginning to sound like bliss!

Ooh, this does look potent. I tried vodka this summer for the first time, as I made a pear liqueur with some homegrown pears from my mom & dad’s property — yikes, that stuff is strong! Your pictures are fun, though, and really evoke the Halloween mood.
