We are getting close to that time of the year again: moving ahead in anticipation of the holidays, when the heart beats with joy and jingles, warm family gatherings, a lot of shopping, and giving. There is no denying that its the favorite time of the year.
There is nothing more delightful than scooping out spiced flavored curries with some fresh, hot, flaky flatbread. These lovely multi layered, rustic, crisp on the outside, pastry like breads are called the Parathas.
Baking is therapeutic for me. Along with the calm feeling instilled by the warmth of the oven and the wonderfully smelling home, there arises within me a tiny bit of triumph with every success, a little smile and a small pat on the back.
I am finally here with the recipe for Naan. There are not many who are not familiar with these teardrop-shaped flat breads, soft pillowy cushions with rippled surface, and smothered with butter. They are utterly delicious!
