A burger for a wholesome, healthy, satisfying meal. A sandwich or a burger is probably the most common lunch idea. They are available everywhere and there are million ways to do them.
There has not been a single moment in my life when the Mediterranean food has disappointed me. From the wide spread mezze, to the diverse distribution of main and side dishes and of course the mouthwatering desserts – every bite of the cuisine is exciting and satisfying.
I like the sound of “Lady’s Finger” better than “Okra”. It could be that I am more used to the Lady Finger, since we were not aware of the existence of the word “Okra” before we came here; or simply because the lady’s finger visually couples better with the this slender vegetable. Summer sneaked out alright, but the tomatoes did not. Not here. That is why I love Texas. While we simmer in the summer heat, the fall is the time to really be outside and enjoy, more like what you call “summer” else where.

When my daughter saw the chicken sitting in the marinade, she had a funny expression in her face, the kind that is thinking..”..eeewwww, green chicken?“, but not daring to say much as she knew this was going to be dinner. It is not any herbed dotted chicken. The chicken here is more like slathered and coated with a fresh aromatic green paste. The green paste is similar to the coriander mint chutney or the green chutney that is so popular in Indian cuisine.
