A late afternoon coffee break….
for Susan’s Black and White Wednesday
The cup lingered in the microwave for too long, as the absent minded me timed it way more than it takes to heat a mug of coffee. When it came out, there was a big spill and bountiful twisting steam almost jumping out of the cup.
Full of life !
Back lit from a large window about 20 ft. away from the counter top where I placed the mug, the rising steam created quite a bit of drama.
Looking like elegant brush strokes, making a picture worth painting…
I grabbed the camera only a get these shots. Only a handful of them…in a couple of minutes, the steam was nothing but a slow tired wisp.
Life is a precious play; short and sweet. Capture every beautiful moment and live it well….
Great captures! Steam is so beautiful.
Cheers,
Rosa

Great clicks, Soma! By the way, I really like that book 🙂
Beautiful Soma. I need to send my dog to pooch daycare so I can capture those special moments without interruption. 🙂 Very dramatic B&W. Truly wonderful!
Hey Soma,
Beautiful captures. Can you let me know which camera you use, if you do’t mind. I am really pestering my DH to buy a DSLR and I am looking for suggestions..Thanks!
Jyoti Thank you!
I do not have a dSLR 🙂 The camera I use is Konica Minolta Dimage A200. It has an inbuilt lens and some more features than the point and shoots, but not like dSLR. It is a very old camera; I don’t think they even sell the new ones any more. We need to buy a dSLR too.
You certainly made the most out of a not-so-pleasant occurrence. I usually get fairly upset at myself when I spill food in the microwave. Beautiful photos!
Beautiful accident! Great job getting all those lovely shots! Have a happy holiday!
the smoke looks so defined, and so delicate at the same time. like lace. beautifully shot, soma.
