The oven warmed and glowed, the rolls slowly rose and browned, and every nook of my home was full of the warm spiced heaven sent aroma. These soft, spiraled flaky rolls stuffed with spiced caramelized apples, nuts and cinnamon have been baking in the kitchen early on last weekend.
Poached pear is a perfect fall dessert; classic and elegant and surprisingly easy to make. My home was a spot of delight, with the warm sweet aroma of the poaching pears dancing in every corner.
Cooked with fragrant spices used in Indian pickles, Achaari Murg is one of the most delectable of all North Indian dishes. (Achaar=Pickles, Murg/Murgh=Chicken). A chicken curry with a heart beat, the kind that will liven your spirits up!
This is a continuation of the saga of the Aloo Vadas/Fried Potato Dumplings. I will not write much today except for a little note on the evolution of this dish.
