Summer sneaked out alright, but the tomatoes did not. Not here. That is why I love Texas. While we simmer in the summer heat, the fall is the time to really be outside and enjoy, more like what you call “summer” else where.
Hakka Noodles belongs to the Indo-Chinese cuisine; an immensely popular and widespread cuisine in India tho’ it bears no resemblance to actual traditional Hakka or to any Chinese dishes. Noodles here are quickly stir fried with a spicy “Indian Chinese” flavored sauce and crunchy vegetables.
Yes we have said adieu to summer, there is a slight nip in the air, & I love it. My yard looks bathed, happy & fresh. Finally it is sinking in that Fall is here. The tomatoes are growing, so are the bell peppers & hot peppers & other little things.
