Soma, I made this yday and it came out awesome. Hubby just couldnt stop praising enough. I didnt have nigella seeds, so just used jeera…Im sure it will be more fragrant with nigella…will try that next time

The name Baingan Patiala sounds appealing and authentic. I cook with baingan but in a different way. Glad to know this variation.
